One of our customers recently experienced two crashes in the span of three weeks involving trucks carrying a mix of our liquid totes and traditional all-corrugate totes. Thankfully, no one was hurt but the results between the two packaging styles couldn’t have been more dramatic:
Crash #1
Two trucks were traveling side by side on the highway at the same speed, one loaded with LP Liquid Totes, the other with all-corrugate totes. When traffic came to an abrupt stop, both trucks were forced to slam on the brakes. The sudden deceleration sent every tote in each truck hurling toward the cab.
In the truck carrying the all-corrugate totes, the impact caused near total destruction of the totes. The result:

- A trailer full of edible oil waste
- An expensive cleanup effort
- A disrupted delivery timeline
Crash #2
Less than 3 weeks later, fate provided the answer. Another truck, this time carrying only LP Liquid Totes, was involved in a collision. The result?
