John Lapoint III
President / CEO
John Howard Lapoint III serves as President and CEO of PackGen, a position he has held since 1985. Under his leadership, PackGen evolved from a filtration business founded by his father into an industry-leading provider of specialized packaging solutions for environmental services, hazardous chemicals, food and beverage producers, and the sodium cyanide market. John pioneered the development of the pop-up style UN-composite packaging container, a breakthrough that significantly reshaped packaging standards and positioned PackGen as a global innovator.
In 2005, John led PackGen’s entry into the highly regulated sodium-cyanide packaging segment, successfully expanding distribution across Europe, Africa, Australia, and East Asia. His entrepreneurial focus continued with the 2022 launch of Lapoint Packaging, PackGen’s liquid-tote division, which has rapidly grown within the food, beverage, and non-hazardous liquid industries. A lifelong Mainer and passionate advocate for local manufacturing and community development, John resides in South Maine and is a graduate of Fairfield University with a degree in Business Administration. He is the proud father of four children, including his sons John and Jensen, who are members of the PackGen leadership team.

Jenn Williams
Vice President of Operations
Jennifer Williams serves as the Vice President of Operations at PackGen, bringing over 25 years of experience in manufacturing leadership, operational strategy, and supply chain management. In her role, she oversees all core operational functions, including production, procurement, logistics, and human resources, and has been instrumental in driving efficiency and scalability across the organization.
Jennifer has led PackGen through multiple periods of significant growth, from the company’s expansion into the highly regulated sodium-cyanide packaging market in 2005 to the successful launch of Lapoint Packaging, PackGen’s rapidly growing liquid-tote division serving the food, beverage, and non-hazardous liquid industries. A recognized expert in industrial packaging and a dedicated practitioner of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, she has successfully integrated process discipline and continuous improvement into PackGen’s operating model. A Maine native and graduate of the University of Southern Maine, Jennifer is deeply committed to advancing PackGen’s mission of innovation, excellence, and community impact.

John Lapoint IV
Vice President of Business Development
As the leader of all commercial activities at PackGen, John Lapoint IV brings a lifetime of experience growing up in the family business alongside his father and brother. Having spent time on the manufacturing floor and now leading business development, John offers PackGen clients a unique and comprehensive perspective on their packaging needs.
Drawing from his time at the Naval Academy and as an officer in the United States Marine Corps, John is dedicated to providing that same level of commitment and service to his teammates at PackGen and the clients they serve. His focus is on delivering excellence across all product lines, continuously innovating to help clients achieve operational efficiencies, cost savings, and reduced environmental impact.

Sue Proia
Director of Purchasing and Logistics
Sue Proia serves as PackGen’s Director of Purchasing and Logistics , overseeing all procurement functions, inbound and outbound logistics, and demand forecasting efforts. With over 15 years of dedicated service at PackGen, Sue brings extensive experience and deep operational knowledge to the team. Prior to her tenure at PackGen, she spent 15 years in various operational roles at Anderson Power Products, a leading manufacturer of appliances and electrical equipment.
In addition to her professional achievements, Sue is a vibrant community member committed to advancing Maine’s manufacturing industry. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Bentley College and is dedicated to making PackGen a leader in innovative and efficient packaging solutions.

Jensen Lapoint
Sr. Business Development Manager
Having grown up in the family business, Jensen brings a hands-on understanding of PackGen’s operations, from assembling products on the manufacturing floor to leading client engagements in the field. This deep-rooted experience gives him a unique perspective on how packaging impacts every layer of a customer’s supply chain.
Jensen operates across multiple sectors, including environmental services, hazmat, food and beverage, mining, and oil and gas. With extensive product knowledge and a solutions-oriented mindset, he partners closely with clients to rethink their packaging strategies, helping them uncover hidden cost drivers, improve operational efficiency, and reduce their environmental footprint. He is committed to delivering both immediate and long-term value for his customers.

Kellie Scutt
Sr. Business Development Manager
With a career deeply rooted in the packaging and supply chain industries, Kellie brings a wealth of firsthand experience and insight to her role at PackGen. As a business development leader, Kellie was instrumental in successfully launching PackGen’s innovative single-use liquid tote to the market and has been critical in helping customers across a wide variety of industries reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.
Kellie specializes in PackGen’s liquid tote product line and serves as a trusted advisor to her clients, building long-term relationships grounded in trust, reliability, and service. Her passion for driving growth through smart, sustainable packaging strategies makes her an invaluable partner to customers navigating the evolving needs of the food, beverage, and non-hazardous liquid sectors.

Terry Delargy
Director Marketing / International Business Development
Terry Delargy brings a strong background of over eight years in business development and marketing at PackGen. She represents the full spectrum of PackGen’s product lines and partners closely with clients to deliver operational efficiencies, cost savings, and improved performance.
Terry has worked extensively across a range of industrial sectors, including oil and gas, mining, catalysts, chemicals, and environmental services. More recently, she has expanded her focus to include the food and beverage industry, where she has played a key role in introducing PackGen’s liquid tote line to new customers and applications. Her deep product knowledge, hands-on experience, and commitment to client success make her a trusted partner in driving results across complex, logistics-driven supply chains.
